TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Sizing information

“Athletic” close-fitting cut.
If you’re looking for a second skin effect (skin-tight), choose your usual size.
If you’re looking for a looser fit, choose one size up from your usual size.

Composition

This high-tech base layer has a knit structure composed of polypropylene and polyamide thread for good moisture management and elastane fibres for elasticity.
This smart knit structure combined with seamless technology (for fewer seams) provide excellent freedom of movement and comfort.

How to stay warm and dry during your cross-country skiing outings

We recommend using the three-layer technique for your winter activities:
Layer 1: a second skin (high-tech base layer) to wick away moisture, keeping your skin dry.
Layer 2: an insulating layer (T-shirt or fleece) to provide warmth and transfer moisture outwards.
Layer 3: an outer protective layer (jacket) to protect against weather conditions: wind, snow, and cold.

Adjust the number of layers based on the level of physical effort and the weather and make sure that the clothing is breathable.

Our products’ environmental impact

The product’s environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using various indicators. An ABCDE rating shows the environmental impact of a product. Put forward by ADEME, it takes into account production, transportation, usage, and waste generated at the end of a product’s life.
Decathlon displays this information voluntarily to help you identify products with lower environmental impact.

What are the advantages of merino wool?

What is merino wool? Wool that comes from merino sheep.
It keeps you warm: it regulates body temperature, wicks away perspiration, and traps air between each of its fibres, providing protection against the cold.
It’s light: it’s ideal for intensive activities requiring great freedom of movement.
It reduces unpleasant odours: it has a natural ability to not retain odours and prevents the proliferation of bacteria.
