A responsible design

We are working to make each new product more responsible in its design. The material chosen for this Profilter Micro umbrella minimizes water usage during the dyeing process. This way, we reduce our our environmental impact. This procedure is called Dope Dye: the colour is dyed into the yarn itself. This way, our water consuption is reduced by more than 60% compared to a classic textile.

Product testing

This umbrella has been subjected to waterproofing, UV resistance, and discolouration tests to ensure its ability to retain its shape, colour, and waterproofing.
It has also been subject to more than 2000 opening/closing cycles to test its usage strength.
These tests are performed by an external laboratory to guarantee that our quality requirements are met throughout the design process.

How to maintain your umbrella

Run a damp sponge with soapy water over the fabric of your umbrella to remove stains.

The umbrella is very light and portable but it's too small and you end up getting wet in the rain anyway. Only everything above your stomach stays dry. Only useful for walking in the sun
