The ball for younger players (ages 4 to 5) weighs 180 to 200 grams.
From ages 11 to 14, the volleyballs should weigh 230 to 250 grams.
Players aged 15 and up can play with official-weight volleyballs (260 to 280 grams).

The foam seems to deteriorate quite easily, I have already small holes after the first use.
