How to stay warm and dry during cross-country ski outings
We recommend the 3-layer technique.
Layer 1: a second skin (technical base layer) that wicks away moisture to keep your skin dry.
Layer 2: an insulating layer (T-shirt, fleece) that provides warmth and wicks moisture outwards.
Layer 3: an outer layer (jacket) that protects against the elements: wind, snow, and cold.
Adjust the number of layers according to your physical activity and the weather. Make sure your clothing is breathable.
Our products’ environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle and using various indicators. An ABCDE rating shows the environmental impact of a product. Put forward by ADEME, it takes into account production, transportation, usage, and waste generated at the end of a product’s life.
Decathlon displays this information voluntarily to help you identify products with lower environmental impact.
