Evofit Concept

This shoe is designed with the Evofit concept. With its stretch materials and specific design for the area of the foot where your joints are located, Evofit technology allows the shoe to perfectly fit the shape of your foot.

Which size should you choose?

The most important thing is to try on several styles to find the one most suited to you.
You can choose one size up from your usual size so your toes won't bump the toe box when going downhill, as long as you still have the proper support to prevent friction.
Advice: keep your toenails short and, before a long descent, check that your lacing is tight enough to prevent your foot from sliding forwards inside the shoe.

Buying advice / How to try on your footwear

Certain Decathlon stores have a test trail.
1. Try both shoes on, wearing your hiking socks, and stand up. 2. Tighten the laces, taking care to make sure they're evenly tightened.
3. Check two points:
- the heel does not lift up before the shoe when you walk uphill.
- the foot does not slide and toes do not press onto the front when going downhill.
4. Try on several sizes and models.

Break them in gradually to adapt them to your feet.

How to avoid blisters

Find all our advice here:

Optimize your shoes: replace your insoles!

The original insole in your shoes is designed to accommodate most feet. Changing the insole may provide:
1. Improved support: some soles are preformed or reinforced to better support the arch of the foot.
2. More comfort: the insoles can also provide warmth and/or cushioning.
3. Longer life: restore the support and comfort of your shoes by replacing the insole each season.

Laboratory tests

Additional lab tests also check the following: tearing of eyelets and straps, adhesion, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of sole and upper components, and accelerated ageing.

How to care for your shoes

- Leave to air dry.
- Remove dry mud with a stiff brush.
– For stains, clean with a brush and a little warm water
– Leave to dry
– Spray with a re-waterproofing agent to restore the upper’s water-repellent properties.

Superb walking boots
Elin (United Kingdom) Used for
I have now had these walking boots for a year. Originally bought for our adventure in Greece and trecking through the Samaria Gorge, I didn't need to wear the shoes in, they were so comfortable from the offset. Great that Quecha offer half sizes as they fitted comfortably with the recommended Quecha walking socks. Lightweight and a fantastic sole.
A year on and I opt to wear these for everything, my walking boots have stayed put in the cupboard as these are so comfy! Over the year they have done a huge amount of miles and despite looking a bit grubby now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. Debating buying another pair for safe keeping for when these ones do become a bit worse for wear! Thanks Quecha :)
Lovely walking shoes but
NANCY (United Kingdom)
I went to Decathlon Giltbrook today, looking forward to purchasing these shoes. I tried on the left one first, true to size and very comfortable and I was very pleased so put the left one on , to my horror there was dodgy stitching near the arch of my foot, when walking in them it caused a lot of pain. I two pairs on and the right shoes was the same. I was very disappointed and did not purchase them.
Very stylish and also comfortable and practical
