TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Cut

The feminine cut of this jacket suits different body types. You can wear a warm layer underneath, such as a fleece jacket or light sweater. The interior lining also improves comfort.
You can choose your usual size or one size up if you want a looser fit.

Hood

Detach the hood using snaps. Adjust its height using an elastic cord and adjust the depth with the hook-and-loop tab at the back.

Jacket composition

This jacket is made with 2 coated layers, including a large mesh lining.
That means the jacket has an outer fabric and a lining.
A coating similar to resin is applied to the inside of the fabric, making the material waterproof yet breathable. The jacket’s inner lining protects this coating.

Waterproofing test

We measure a fabric’s resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric.
The component of this product has a waterproof rating of 5,000 mm: it can withstand the pressure exerted by a 5,000-mm column of water. This is also equivalent to 5,000 Schmerbers.

Breathability test

Component breathability is measured by thermal evaporative resistance (RET).
This is the fabric’s ability to let perspiration escape during physical activity and prevent it from accumulating on the skin.
The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric.

RET ≤ 6: Very breathable fabric.
RET ≤ 12: Breathable fabric.
RET ≤ 20: Little breathability.

How to restore water repellency

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed.
This keeps the fabric from soaking up water, so it stays lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface. However, this property may deteriorate with use.

I love the fit of this jacket. Many of my raincoats in the past have been more of a straight cut style, this one actually has some shape to it. I also enjoy the small touches of purple colour on it.
It's been perfect for all the rainy weather we've had this summer. The hood covers my head even when I have a ponytail up. There are side zippers under the arms for breathability, it is completely wide open when unzipped but, so far haven't noticed any wetness from rain there (have only opened these during walks in light rain). I find it is sturdy but, still lightweight.
I am definitely happy that I made this purchase. I had been looking for a reasonably priced raincoat for walking the dog and am so glad I came across this one.

An excellent RAIN COAT, as in , can really keep one dry under a heavy downpour, only thing is quite hard to get the size that i wanted, im supposed to ne M size but the decided to get the L size since my M size easily runnput out stock,
