TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Opening direction of the hand pockets:

We have deliberately designed the pockets to seal downward.
This means that the zipper won’t bother you when you tighten the waistband of your backpack and your belongings will remain secure in your pockets.

Belt:

The belt that comes with the pants can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.

Water-repellent property information

This product is water-repellent and not waterproof. The water-repellent areas slow the rate at which water and moisture is absorbed and prevents the pants from getting wet too fast, but they will not keep you dry in steady rain. To keep dry, you need to add a pair of overpants.
The water-repellent property can be restored by putting the pants in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes.

I love these pants. I used the size guide which is accurate. However, in decathlon clothing I run a size larger than what I normally wear in other brands. These pants were perfect for XC skiing and hiking. They tend to have a decent amount of stretch and didn’t feel restrictive at all. There is room for a light base layer underneath and they provide wind protection.

I bought these when they first came into the store and they are still the best hiking pants I have bought. They have been all over the world with me and the only thing that isn't working any more are the two leg pocket zips....because they are the perfect spot for me to nervous fiddle with them so I have broken them.
I use them for outdoor climbing, winter and summer hiking (depending on the terrain) and used them working as an outdoor instructor.
If I still in the uk I would buy another pair now, just to have one in case I loose my current pair.
So comfy for women. Good waist height for movement, the right amount of stretching.
