Carefully designed to stay in place in waves of more than one metre.
For advanced surfers
You surf intensively—it’s your favourite sport. You paddle out to the line-up, duck-dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle-roll if you are on a longboard. You show dedication in powerful waves of more than one metre. Your swimsuit has to stay in place, whatever the strength of the wave. Our range was designed for your intensive surfing and body shape.
With their fitted shape and drawstring, these bikini bottoms are specially designed for women wishing to practice surfing, stand up paddle or bodyboarding with peace of mind. Their shape offers a perfect hold during use, reinforced by a drawstring. Its low cut and side seams give it an atheletic look that suits all body types.
Stays in place in the waves: The test
Our swimsuits promise to stay in place in the waves. A panel of female surfers tested them in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. The test protocol reproduces the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we test our swimwear directly in the sea.
Dry vs wet sizing
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, choose the right size while you are dry—once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. Buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. The spandex used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
Exchanging your swimsuit
Is the size or style not suitable for you? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem! Just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.
