YOU ARE A BEGINNER SURFER

You are learning to surf or surf only a few times a year, during your holidays or a surf trip. These pieces are intended for surfers who are just learning or who surf only a few times a year. They’re suitable for shallow waters where your feet touch the bottom and for only small or We have designed a wide range of swimwear for you, to suit your occasional practice and your body shape.

Body shape

The LAURA bandeau, with its removable cups, is a bandeau with a clean design. It is made for surfers who do not need a strong hold in the waves. It is primarily aimed at those with a small bust who want to have their shoulders completely exposed.

Stays in place in the waves: The test

Our swimsuits promise to stay in place in the waves. A panel of female surfers tested them in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. The test protocol reproduces the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea with surfers to test our swimwear in real conditions.

WHAT ARE PADDED CUPS?

Shaped cups built in to the swimsuit top are flattering for your bust and sculpt your breasts into a rounded shape without having visible seams and avoiding irritation as opposed to cut and stitched foam pads. Olaian has kept you and your comfort in mind by favouring the use of padded cups in most of its models. The padded cups may be removable and, if so, they let you go up or down a half size.

Dry vs wet sizing

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, choose the right size while you are dry—once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. Buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. The spandex used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

LINING

This swimsuit top is fully lined, making the swimsuit less see-through when wet.

Exchanging your swimsuit

Is the size or style not suitable for you? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem! Just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.
