good & bright illumination but can be better if it has more color choices such as all black, dark blue, grey, brown, beige, khaki green and not just only silver front cover, and an additional/secondary securing strap so that it does not inadvertently gets detached and lost while traveling/commuting.
Very impressed with the light (lumens) quality and dual front/back capability.
On closer inspection I had an idea the rubber bracket assembly would create an issue as first test ride the rubber strapping failed. The clip part lip/bracket is not deep/high enough and the rubber strap comes loose and the light tumbles out..
I manufactured a secure bracket. Having said that the price point is good and now that I know my manufactured bracket assembly is secure I will purchase another 900CL and see how that goes. So far re charging is working and charge hold is good.
so i purchased this light and was initially very happy, was using it as a back light loved the two settings for this and it illuminates perfectly. After just over a week of using this product i pull up at work lock the bike up and go two switch off my bike lights and to my alarm the light has disappeared. now i,m only a commuter cyclist using normal roads and this thing cant hack it! In summary not fit for purpose do not buy !!!
Great value for money (but see WARNING below). Versatile, lightweight light with a long USB battery life. I use one in flashing mode at the front, and two at the rear in red flashing mode; one on the seat tube and one on the back of my helmet, using the small mount (held on using a cable tie - the adhesive doesn’t work). Friends on group rides comment on how bright the rear lights are when I use them in poor visibility. With three lights, if the front one is discharged, you can use one from the rear (light can be red or white). On smooth, unlit roads, the boost mode of 55 lumens means it is just about good enough to ride safely home. Light enough to carry as an emergency light and I used them on this year’s Paris-Brest-Paris as my support lighting.
The 900 is much better than the 500 version, because the clip doesn’t break and hasn’t failed in the rain.
WARNING - if you use the black elastic mount, your light will fall out. Why do I know this?
The first time it happened, (11 May 2019 on the terrible A6108, north of Ripon, lots of pot holes), I didn’t notice it had fallen off. I thought it was just a one-off. It then happened again in France in the summer on a road that was being resurfaced near Cannes. I heard something fall, but couldn’t see anything. I began to suspect the elastic mount. Then last Wednesday at about 5:30 pm, I was using it alongside my main light going down a busy street with speed ramps and it happened for the third time. I didn’t notice immediately that the front one had jumped out of the elastic mount. Conclusion - badly designed mount. I notice in another review that somebody else has had the same problem.
Yesterday, I bought three new 900s. I have modified black elastic mount, drilling two holes near the top, so I can use a cable tie to fix the light to the bike (the elastic isn’t great). The cable tie also goes under the the clip so the light is held securely, but can be removed for charging. The slight disadvantage is that you can’t move the mount.
NB I have struggled to buy the VIDO 900 - it is not in stock at many Decathlon stores and is not available on-line (by post). Reserve in store.

Like this a lot and pleased that it has the same mounting as some other lights that I've bought from Decathlon. The only reason it's lost a star is that the little rubber button requires more accuracy and pressure to operate than the cheaper versions. Apart from that, it's excellent.
I bought this 2 weeks ago and I was very pleased with the light capabilities however I noticed it wasn't fitting great on my decathlon helmet (which has a dedicated attach point for the VIOS lights).
I lost it last week so I am disappointed by the fitting, if you buy this please use your own fitting.

Versatile l8ght which can be used front or rear
Strong light but unfortunately the rubbery support was very weak and the light was lost during cycling. £20 thrown down the drain
I'm sorry to read that the light came away from the bracket. I'm unsure why this happened.
I use this very light fr my daily commute and so far so good but maybe there was a fault with you particular bracket.
Please feel free to return the bracket to store for an exchange with your receipt.
