Comment être certain que mon manteau me protège bien des intempéries?
Le pantalon 900 a été conçu avec un composant et un assemblage rigoureux, qui bloquent le passage de l’eau et limitent la sensation du vent pour mieux vous aider à affronter les intempéries (pluie, neige, vent, etc.). En vue de valider son imperméabilité, ce pantalon a été placé sous une douche spéciale, reproduisant les conditions auxquelles un skieur se trouve confronté. Nous avons validé l'étanchéité de ce produit en skiant lors de conditions différentes, plusieurs jours durant.
À quoi sert la déperlance de mon pantalon?
La déperlance d’un tissu est sa capacité à laisser glisser l’eau sur sa surface, sans l’absorber. Le pantalon 900 est équipé de composants déperlants qui prolongent sa résistance aux intempéries. Cette solution technique vous permet de rester plus longtemps au sec sur les pistes de ski. Pour rester efficace, ce traitement doit être renouvelé régulièrement à l’aide de produits vendus dans nos magasins.
Pantalon « enduit » : quels sont les avantages de l'enduction?
L'enduction consiste à étaler une matière imperméabilisante sur la face interne d’un tissu. Elle empêche la pénétration de l’eau dans le vêtement mais laisse s’échapper la vapeur d’eau produite par l’activité du corps. Vous restez ainsi au sec pour plus de confort pendant votre pratique sportive.
L'eau entre souvent par les coutures. Mon manteau a-t-il des coutures étanches?
En plus d’un tissu imperméable, nous renforçons l'étanchéité du pantalon 900 avec des coutures étanches. Il s'agit de bandes adhésives et imperméables apposées sur les coutures à l'intérieur du vêtement pour le rendre parfaitement hermétique à l'eau. Ces coutures étanches sont présentes sur les zones les plus exposées à la neige, généralement, les fesses.
Qu'apporte « la membrane » à mon pantalon?
La membrane d'un pantalon est un composant très fin appliqué sur la face interne du tissu extérieur. Hydrophile, celle-ci bloque l’eau venant de l’extérieur mais évacue la transpiration produite par le corps venant de l’intérieur. Pour rester au chaud et au sec, la membre est un incontournable
Comment mon pantalon de ski me maintient-il au chaud?
Pour vous aider à vous maintenir au chaud, nous utilisons une isolation en ouate. Ce composant synthétique à base de polyester emmagasine, selon la taille de ses fibres, une quantité plus ou moins importante d’air. Il existe des ouates standard, technique ou siliconée qui ont chacune des propriétés différentes : chaleur, légèreté, élasticité, etc.
Que signifie un pantalon « respirant » ?
Il s'agit d'un produit capable de laisser s'échapper la vapeur d’eau produite par votre corps durant l’effort, afin de vous maintenir au sec. Pour savoir si un tissu est respirant, on mesure sa résistance-évaporative, appelée RET, lors d'un test normé ISO 11092. Plus la valeur de RET est faible, plus le tissu est respirant. Wed'ze utilise des composants et des solutions techniques (glissières, aérations, filet) qui limitent la condensation dans le vêtement. RET du pantalon 900 < 12
Comment dois-je m'habiller pour ne pas avoir froid aux jambes sur les pistes?
Pour garder les jambes au chaud et au sec : superposer 2 couches respirantes telles 1 sous-vêtement ou 1 collant de ski pour garder la chaleur et 1 pantalon de ski pour protèger des intempéries.
Comment éviter les entrées de neige dans mon pantalon?
Nos pantalons disposent de guêtres élastiques en bas des jambes qui viennent recouvrir la botte. En cas de chute ou au contact de la neige fraîche, l'herméticité de la guêtre empêche les entrées de neige.
Comment être sûr que mon pantalon soit assez solide?
Nous connaissons l'énergie dépensée lors des journées de ski ou de planche à neige. C'est pourquoi nous apportons un soin particulier à choisir l'ensemble des éléments qui composent nos produits pour garantir la meilleure résistance possible.
