Don’t buy, paddle doesn’t float at all

My 11 yo son took the paddle board we bought for a spin at the lake when we were camping and he dropped this paddle which didn’t float for even 15 sec as he didn’t have time to bend down and pick it up. Lucky we were around and he could scream for help. When we spoke with the
manager and also customer service all they said is that paddle float time is different. Run away unless you are ok with a paddle that sinks as soon as you drop on the water

I am a casual SUP user. This paddle is just fine for me. I was able to keep up with people using much more expensive carbon fiber paddles. Probably their paddles were better but for the price and the number of times I use my SUP during the year, this paddle gets 'er done.

There is wiggle in the joint, but at this price, one can't really complaint. I bought this to save my carbon fibre paddle for serious paddling. This one is for when the kids play close to shore and around rocks.
