To get the most out of your wetsuit, it’s important to choose the right size. A surfing wetsuit should fit snugly and have no visible folds. It’s normal for the suit to feel too tight when dry; this discomfort will disappear once you’re in the water. A wetsuit that’s too big will be loose in certain areas, causing chafing and reduced insulation due to water penetration.

Choosing a size

The synthetic lining improves its resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 1.5 mm.
Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomer foam (polychloroprene) containing nitrogen bubbles.

Materials

The neck is designed to limit irritation. If you have sensitive skin, consider wearing a UV-resistant top under the wetsuit to reduce rubbing and chafing. To prevent chafing during longer outings, we recommend applying petroleum jelly around your neck and underarms. Make sure the flap is always inside the wetsuit to limit the risk of irritation with the zipper and the neck.

Neck

Our zips and fastenings are lab-tested for guaranteed durability and resistance to salt water. The zip is at the back of the wetsuit for greater comfort when lying down to paddle.

Fasteners

We are required by law to put a short cord on the zippers of children’s products to prevent the risk of strangulation. The cord is longer for kids aged 10+ so they can pull up the zipper themselves. A rip-tab strap keeps it from opening in the water.

Seamless panels under the arms reduce irritation caused by paddling movements.

Anti-chafing design

Our wetsuits are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding surfers. They’re also compatible with many other water sports, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and stand-up paddle boarding.
