The feminine cut of this jacket suits different body types. A warm layer, such as a fleece or light jumper, can be worn underneath. The interior lining also improves comfort. 
Choose your usual size or go one size up for a looser fit.

The hood is removable with the snaps. Hood size is also adjustable using the elastic cords and hook-and-loop tabs.

Removable hood

This jacket is made with 2 coated layers, including a large mesh lining. 
That means the jacket has an outer fabric and a lining. 
A coating similar to resin is applied to the inside of the fabric, making the material waterproof yet breathable. The jacket’s inner lining protects this coating.

Jacket composition

Waterproofing is measured by a fabric’s resistance to water pressure expressed in mm of water column. The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. 
The component of this product has a waterproof rating of 5,000 mm: it can withstand the pressure exerted by a 5,000-mm column of water. This is also equivalent to 5,000 Schmerbers.

Waterproofness test

Component breathability is measured using thermal evaporative resistance (RET). 
RET measures how well the fabric lets perspiration to escape during physical activity, preventing it from accumulating on the skin. 
The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. 

RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric 
RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric 
RET ≤ 20: little breathability
 
Our product has a 12 RET rating.

Breathability test

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed.
This keeps the fabric from soaking up water so it stays lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface. However, this property may deteriorate with use.
