Water repellency is a fabric’s capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. It prevents the fabric from soaking up water, keeping it lightweight, warm, and breathable. Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. This treatment needs to be reapplied throughout the product’s lifetime. Products for this purpose (spray and liquid) are available in our stores.

How to preserve the technical qualities of the boots

This product is guaranteed for two years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear or improper use.

How waterproof are these boots?

Footwear waterproofing test: tested in the laboratory and under real-world conditions, equipped with a waterproof, breathable layer to offer excellent protection from the rain. On Field Test Missions, our product managers team up with people who are unaffiliated with Quechua to test, improve, and validate our products. Next, the boots are placed on a mechanical arm that simulates walking and are half immersed in water to test that the insides remain perfectly dry.
