How does a fleece insulate from the cold?
The mission of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (and the brushing of the knit). This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
Why make a breathable fleece?
Young explorers who are always on the go get hot and sweaty. We chose a breathable fabric to guarantee comfort in all situations. This fabric wicks away moisture generated by the body, keeping your children dry even when highly active.
What is the RET index?
The breathability of a fabric is measured by its evaporative resistance RET (ISO 11092 standard): The lower this number, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET < 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (low breathability). This fleece sweater has a rating of 6.3.
What sizes are available?
This fleece sweater is available in ages 2 to 6 years.
How should you care for your fleece sweater?
To preserve the quality of your fleece, select a synthetic wash program at 30°C. Remember to turn it inside out and close the zip before washing. For the spin cycle, do not exceed 1,000 rpm to protect the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
Is this fleece durable?
Lab tests ensure optimal durability of our fleeces. We therefore test: - resistance to rubbing and pilling - colourfastness - that repeated washing doesn’t affect the fabric's properties, behaviour, thickness, or appearance.
