When you run, each impact with the ground generates a shockwave equivalent to three times your weight. The impact runs from the heel to the top of your spine. Your joints absorb the shock, but this puts a lot of pressure on them. We designed the Kalenji Run Active running shoes to protect you from shocks and impacts.

What makes Run Active shoes ideal for running?

To continue running, your joints, back, and knees must be well protected from shocks and vibrations. The cushioning is designed to limit the effect of repeated impact on occasional runners.

Why do running shoes need cushioning?

The cushioning is made with EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl acetate) foam which is both lightweight and shock-absorbent.
CS (Circular System) technology optimizes shock absorption.

How do you guarantee the cushioning in Run Active running shoes?

Choose one size bigger than your usual size to ensure optimum comfort in your Run Active shoes. There should be 1 cm (2/5") between your toe and the end of your shoe, as your feet swell during exercise.

Drop is the difference between the height of the shoe’s heel and forefoot. 

What is the drop of a shoe?

The height difference between the back and front of the sole is 10 mm (1/25").

What is the drop on a Run Active shoe?

We recommend that you avoid machine washing your shoes as this causes damage to the technical and material properties of the shoe; they may come unstuck or shrink, and the upper fabric may tear. 
To clean dirt or mud, wash with soapy water and a synthetic brush. Do not use bleach! Rinse with fresh water.
Avoid putting shoes near a heat source to dry.
