Thermal insulation

The thermal insulation keeps your young skiers neither too hot nor too cold. This garment adapts to the body’s movements and the outside environment. Wed’ze uses padding for insulation to keep the body warm. This synthetic polyester-based padding traps more or less air depending on the size of its fibres. The thicker the padding, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.

Coating treatment

The coating is a waterproofing substance applied to the inside of the ski suit's outer fabric. It prevents water infiltration but allows perspiration to escape, so your little ones stay dry and comfortable.

Watertight main seams

In addition to the waterproof fabric, taped seams make this ski suit even more watertight. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. These taped seams are in the areas most exposed to snow. In the case of this ski suit, the seams are taped in the seat area.

Durability

Because sharp skis and playing in the snow may damage or cut the lower parts of the ski suit, we’ve added effective tear-resistant reinforcements. These reinforcements are located in the most exposed areas: knees, seat, and lower legs.

Ski pass pocket

No need to get your ski pass out any more! The sleeve’s ski pass pocket lets you access the lifts quickly.

How to dress your children so they stay warm on the slopes

To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule: - Layer 1, a second skin, to stay dry. - Layer 2, the insulating layer, to keep heat in. - Layer 3, the protective layer, to protect against bad weather.

How should you dress kids so their legs stay warm on the slopes?

To keep your legs warm and dry, 2 layers of clothing are enough: a base layer to wick away perspiration plus ski pants (or a ski suit) to protect you from the weather and provide insulation.
