Got this for my kid as she has long hair. Got a size bigger to accommodate the length of the hair bun. Keeps the hair dry if worn correctly. Inside has a fabric lining do it won't pull your hair.

This cap is comfy and waterproof, so while your hair will stay contained in it, it will stay dry. However, it did not fit my 10 years old daughter (a bit larger than expected), so her hair did not stay dry.
