Our hiking sandals are designed for use on hiking trails. The components of our soles are chosen and tested for hiking on soft footpaths (e.g., earthy woodland paths) and rocky trails (e.g., coastal paths). Frequent use on pavement will cause them to wear out faster. Do not use them on mountain trails with significant elevation gains.

Only wore them two times but the strap cut up both of my insteps. I can’t wear them any more because of this, but they are otherwise well-made. If they didn’t cut my skin then I would highly recommend them, and this is why I gave them 3/5 for value.
