This long-sleeved rain poncho was developed in the French Alps to help keep you dry when hiking. This waterproof rain poncho is a must-have on your hikes. This quick-to-put-on poncho offers long-lasting protection from the rain, with or without a bag (maximum capacity of 60 L/14 gal).

Fit and sizing information
Good coverage for hikers between 157 and 173 cm (5’1” and 5’6”) (size S/M) or 174 and 190 cm (5’7” and 6’2”) (size L/XL) and carrying a 60 L (14 gal) backpack. Hood can be tightened with the elastic drawstring and toggle. Elastic cuffs help keep out water. Easy to get on and off with the long front zipper.
Additional product recommendations
To complete your outfit, we recommend rain pants or waterproof gaiters to fully protect your lower legs. For greater breathability, the waterproof hat can also be attached to the poncho!
Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric’s resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components scoring 2,000 mm can resist the pressure from 2,000 mm of water (equivalent to a 2-hour rain shower).
The garment’s waterproofing
This garment was validated in a shower test under 60 L of water/m²/hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces average rain shower conditions in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our rain poncho and cape lines do not come with a waterproof or breathable membrane. We recommend using it during low-intensity hikes to keep perspiration to a minimum.
Component water resistance
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. It prevents the fabric from soaking up water, keeping it lightweight, warm, and breathable.Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. This treatment needs to be reapplied throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes). All Quechua ponchos and capes have a water-repellent treatment.
Care
We recommend using a re-waterproofing product (spray or liquid) to renew the fabric’s water-repellent properties and optimize the garment’s performance throughout its lifetime.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. This is so well-designed for the multi-day hiker going through rainy weather - I would take this any day of the week over a rain jacket! It protects your head, upper body AND backpack. Sure my gear is in a waterproof liner but who wants a wet backpack
in the tent? This is complete coverage at very low weight. Only complaint is a lack of pit zips for quickly dumping heat, but the large chest zipper is really effective too. Bonus hack - if the rain is on and off, put the poncho on and then slip it back off the head so it's resting on the backpack. Now it's super accessible for the next shower. I'm 6'2" with a 40L backpack - the L/XL is excellent.

As a professional guide, I have been looking for a rain poncho that easily covers my pack for some time. This poncho exceeded my expectations. It is roomy and I love the sleeves. I feel completely protected from the rain and have full range of motion at the same time. Contrary
to other reviews: I have not had any issues with the front zipper leaking. The flange covering the zipper is very effective. The sizing is perfect. I ordered a small. I am 5'4" and carry a pack that is up to 60l.

Très bon poncho! La coupe est parfaite avec ou sans sac à dos. L'imperméabilité est super. Le seul bémol est qu'il n'est pas bien aéré et garde l'humidité en dessous. Quelques petits changement proposé pour résoudre ce problème: - Fermeture éclair double à l'avant. - Mettre de
s attaches velcro aux poignets au lieu des élastiques. - Mettre des fermetures éclair double sous les bras. - Reculer l'emplacement de l'ouverture des poches pour les mettre sur le côté du corps. L'accès sous le poncho est limité à l'avant du corps et il est difficile d'atteindre les poches du pantalons ou de l'équipement à la taille/dos.
