It’s important to remember that no swimming cap is 100% waterproof!
Water can seep underneath, especially around the ears. This cap protects from splashing.

How waterproof is a swimming cap?

Fabric composition:
Made of a swimsuit-type fabric that is easy to get on/off without pulling at your hair. Finishing seams around the head to ensure the cap remains in place.

Coated fabric:
A comfortable mesh cap. It is coated with a layer of silicone that reduces leaks and elasticity, providing a close fit.

Silicone: 
Silicone is less comfortable but highly elastic to guarantee a close fit and prevent water from leaking into the cap.

How to choose swimming cap material 

There are several alternatives to standard swimming caps to suit everyone’s needs:

- brush caps: made of a highly stretch mesh.
- waffle stitch caps: made of latex, can be put on without pulling at your hair.
- volume or extra volume caps: the shape of these silicone caps provides more room for full hair.

- moulded or shell swimming caps: these silicone caps are made for competitive swimming.

- neoprene caps: perfect for open-water swimming.

Are there any other types of swimming caps?

The silicone cap is very stretchy and resistant to stretching, but it is sensitive to snags. So be careful when putting it on, especially with nails and barrettes.

If the cap catches on your hair, dust with talcum powder before putting it on!

Multi-sport nautical accessory

The minimum water temperature recommended for the use of this surfing top is 22°C if it is worn on its own. This fleece shirt helps avoid shivering when you enter the water. 
Warning: the presence of wind will have an impact and can cause discomfort when wet, making you feel colder. In windy conditions it is therefore recommended to choose a neoprene top.
This top can be worn under your wetsuit for extra warmth.

What's new in this updated version of the water-repellent rain cap?

The hook and loop strap at the back can be used for adjustments of more or less 6 cm: this adult cap is suitable for head sizes between 56 and 62 cm (22.1 and 24.4").

We listened to feedback from runners for this second version (V2). The component used for the ends of the index finger and thumb has been totally modified. We selected a very soft imitation suede component to increase the efficiency and precision of the touchscreen function.

Running touchscreen function so you can use your smartphone

In addition to choosing the right size, it is also important to adjust the extremities of the fingers of your gloves (especially the thumb and index finger) to ensure they are correctly positioned and avoid creating creases at the touchscreen parts.

How do I optimize the touchscreen function?

Every runner may have a different sensitivity to cold. 
Our unisex adult touchscreen gloves are designed for running in cold weather at temperatures between 5°C and 10°C. The comfort temperature is 10 °C.
Our gloves strike the right balance between weight, breathability, and practicality.
If you’d like greater protection, we advise that you opt for our Evolutiv V2 gloves featuring removable membranes (reference 8759614).

Strength and toning with water resistance

Toning and strength exercises correct muscles’ weak points Strength training exercises will build up muscles in a particular zone. Toning and strength training are also very good exercises to enhance physical fitness in addition to a sports activity. This speeds up progress and boosts your performance.

The benefits of aquafitness or aqua aerobics

Basic position: keep your back straight with your feet on the ground and the tips of your feet pointing slightly outwards for greater stability, bend your knees and you are ready to start!

Adopt the basic position.
Hold the dumbbells at chest height, elbows bent. Straighten one arm down, pushing the dumbbell toward the bottom of the pool, then return to your initial position. Alternate arms.

Fogging is mainly due to the temperature difference between the body and the water.
As the body is warmer than the practice environment, fogging occurs on the inside of the lenses through evaporation.
As a result, every micro-drop of perspiration will stick to the inside of the goggles.

In fact, it’s a bit of luck: all these drops will eventually combine to create a film of water through which you can see clearly.

Why do my swimming goggles fog up?

The anti-fog treatment creates a microscopic film of water to allow clear vision, but its wear is accelerated by rubbing inside the lenses or over-exposure to chlorinated water. Taking care of the inside of your glasses is essential.

Over time, it is normal for the anti-fog effect to diminish. Briefly soaking the glasses in water may help in the short term, but can also accelerate the wear of the treatment. Our anti-fog marker reactivates the treatment!

The anti-fog treatment

Available in size S (children and small heads) and size L (large heads).

The watertightness of the glasses depends on the fit of the silicone skirts to the shape of the face. 
Before buying your glasses, we recommend that you carry out the "suction cup" test without the elastic band. Position the goggles over your eyes; if they hold on by themselves with a little suction, they will be watertight once in the water. This test can also identify areas of discomfort or annoyance on the face.

Size: how to choose your swimming goggles

These swimming goggles fit the morphology of your face without needing to be overly adjusted.

Goggles that are too tight can cause discomfort, leave marks, and let water seep in.

It is not necessary to press against the lenses with your hands, a light suction effect is usually enough for swimming sessions without water inlet holes.

The straps should sit 2-3 cm above your ears. This position will optimize the grip and comfort of the goggles. 

How to adjust your swimming goggles

Complies with standard: Q/BT 4734 -2023, all our swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays when used normally, regardless of the lens tint. 

Looking directly at the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.

UV Protection

- Rinse your goggles (only if necessary) by simply dipping them in water
- Do not direct powerful jets of water at the inner surface of the lenses.
- Store the goggles in their case after each session to prevent damage to the lenses (on the inner surface to preserve the anti-fog coating and on the outer surface to prevent scratches)
- Don't expose them to temperatures of over 60°C
