What are the jacket’s features?

The wind can make you feel considerably colder. With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 km/h winds, it will feel like the temperature is -10°C. Windproof components fight the discomfort associated with this freezing effect. They effectively reduce heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind. 
This softshell is comfortable down to 4°C when active and worn as a second layer.

Thermal comfort and windproofing

A fabric is water-repellent when water slides off its surface without being absorbed. This prevents the fabric from absorbing water and keeps it lightweight and warm. Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. The garment should be retreated over its lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products for this are available in our stores. All Quechua softshell jackets have a water-repellent treatment.

Standard feminine cut. Inside volume lets you wear a second layer underneath for extra warmth when needed.

How to choose your size

The water-repellent treatment becomes less effective with time, washing, and use. It therefore needs to be reactivated for the jacket to maintain its qualities.
