Windproof:

Water repellency is achieved by applying a treatment to prevent water from remaining on the fabric’s surface. Water rolls off without being absorbed so the garment remains light, breathable, and warm. This product is water-repellent, not waterproof. The treatment should be reapplied to remain effective. Apply treatment on the outside instead of using additives during washing. Additives can affect the product’s breathability.

Water-repellent properties:

Wind protection is very important because of the significant chilling effect wind can have on the body.According to the wind chill model,a temperature of 5°C with a 30 km/h (19 mph) wind feels like 0°C, and a temperature of 0°C with a 30 km/h (19 mph) wind feels like -6°C. Microporous membrane:

the membrane is a polyurethane layer sandwiched between the softshell jacket’s inner and outer fabrics. It protects you from the wind, ensuring your body heat doesn’t escape. This membrane is also breathable: it wicks perspiration to the outside of the garment through its microscopic pores, preventing moisture build-up and keeping you warm and dry!
