The principle of a self-inflating mattress
A self-inflating mattress is made of an airtight envelope glued to an open cell foam in which the air circulates. When unfolded, the mattress fills with air, returning to its original shape and thickness (4.5 cm/1.75” for the Comfort mattress). However, you will need to inflate it partially by mouth to adjust the pressure to your liking. Self-inflation is more effective on some mattresses depending on the thickness.
Directions for use
Unroll your mattress as soon as you set up camp. Leave the valve open to make pre-inflation easier. A self-inflating mattress inflates itself to about 80%. You will need to blow up the rest yourself so you can adjust the pressure to your desired level of comfort. Note: choose your mattress width according to your tent’s interior measurements.

Thermal properties and warmth: insulating mattress can be used in cold weather.
A new standard was validated in early 2020 to assess the level of insulation of your mattress: standard ASTM F3340-18. It measures the mattress’s capacity to retain or return body heat and provide you with thermal comfort. The foam provides thermal insulation. R-value standard ASTM F3340-18 for self-inflating Comfort mattress: 5.2 (measured by an independent laboratory).

The R-value expresses the mattress’s thermal performance and resistance. The higher the R-value, the better the mattress insulates you from the cold ground. - R-value from 0 to 1.9: designed for use in the warm season (summer) only - from 2 to 3: designed for use in 2 to 3 seasons (spring/summer/fall) - from 3 to 4: all-season mattress, can be used in winter - higher than 4.5: suitable for winter and extreme conditions

The mat bursted where the valve is connected after 2 weeks of use and 6 months in the storage. Although it offers reasonable sleep quality, I can't recommend it as it doesn't really last longer than one trip.
