The NCR CF range

The Neo Racer Carbon Frame bike is our most all-round bike but still retains a strong focus on performance. It's part of the Race range, with a sporty style that's sure to appeal to performance-oriented cyclists. Whether you're a beginner or an old hand, you'll love what this bike has to offer. Every bike in the NCR range is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes to guarantee progressive braking in all weather conditions.

An all-round bike

This bike is the perfect partner for getting into competitions from a young age (size XXS) or for taking part in your first triathlons. It has a big clearance that lets you mount tires measuring up to 35 mm (1 1/3") so you can explore the trails near your home.

A closer look at the frame

100% carbon frame and fork. Carbon makes this bike lighter, more rigid and more energetic. We've also used carbon in the fork to give you precise, direct steering. The NCR CF bike's frame weighs 1200 g (42 oz.) in size M when painted. The fork weighs 413 g (14 1/2 oz.). Frame clearance: there's enough clearance to mount tires up to 35 mm (1 1/3") wide. with 38 mm (1 1/2") tires, there's a strong risk of damaging the paintwork.

Steering position

The NCR CF's steering elements are made entirely from aluminum, with a Van Rysel oversize stem and handlebar. The stem size depends on the frame size: XXS: 60 mm (2 1/3") XS: 70 mm (2 3/4") S: 80 mm (3 1/5") M: 90 mm (3 1/2") L: 100 mm (4") XL: 110 mm (4 1/3") Handlebar width (edge-edge): XXS, XS, S: 400 mm (15 3/4") M, L, XL: 420 mm (16 1/2")

Sram Rival AXS Electronic Drive Train

This version is equipped with the Sram Rival AXS complete groupset. The baby brother of the Force groupset, from which it has inherited its technologies, this groupset really breaks the mould. It's 100% wireless, and replacing the various parts is a doddle. With the Sram connect app, you can completely customize your set-up from your smartphone. The groupset works with two batteries: one on each derailleur. Weight: 3050 g (108 oz.) BB: DUB PressFit bottom bracket

Gearing

The bike is equipped with an Sram Rival AXS 48/35 double chainring. The 48T ring gives you a higher cadence and lets you stay in the middle of the cassette for longer. The Rival XG-1250 10/36T cassette has the following cog sizes. 10-11-12-13-15-17-19-21-24-28-32-36 Rival AXS chain Crank length by size XS: 165 mm (6 1/2") S: 170 mm (6 2/3") M: 172.5 mm (6 4/5") L, XL: 175 mm (7")

Drive train maintenance

We want to draw your attention to the need for regular drive train maintenance, particularly if you're riding in difficult conditions (wet and/or dirty roads). Regular maintenance helps your drive train to last longer. You should regularly check your chain with our chain wear indicator, which is available on our website.

Drive train lifespan

When buying a bike, it's important to take into account servicing costs, especially the drive train. We provide estimates based on average lifespans below to give you a general idea of what to expect. These will of course vary depending on the care you take of your drive train. The average lifespan of a well-maintained chain is 5,000 km (3,000 mi) The average lifespan of a cassette is 10,000-12,000 km (6,000-7,500 mi)

Disc brakes

Sram Rival eTap AXS HRD disc brake with a 160 mm (6") rotor at the front and 140 mm (5 1/2") at the back (Paceline Rotor) NB the reach of the brake levers can be adjusted to suit your hand size.

Fulcrum Racing 3DB Wheels

The Fulcrum Racing 3 DB wheels give a particularly good ratio of weight to rigidity and performance. These 1660 g [58 1/2 oz.) wheels (per pair) have an inner rim width of 19 mm (3/4") and depth of 28 mm (1"). They have an asymmetric spoke pattern known as two-to-one: 21 spokes in total, but 14 on the left and 7 on the right. The cup and cone make the bearings run smoothly. This wheel is incredibly versatile and absolutely reliable.

Hutchinson perf black tire

Size:700 x 28 C The new ElevenStorm® rubber meets the five main performance criteria for a high-end tire: grip, rolling performance, durability, puncture resistance, and comfort. This version offers a perfect balance for cyclists who want to go faster and farther. When combined with a Kevlar® strip under the tread, it lets you ride with peace of mind and is rated to last for over 4,000 km (2,500 mi). Tubeless ready.

Tubeless or inner tube

We recommend switching your tires to tubeless using the tubeless valve that comes with this bike. Tubeless is more comfortable and more efficient, and the tires can self-repair when you get small punctures. Of course, you should always carry an inner tube in your repair kit, just in case your tire gets a slightly bigger puncture.

Position

Van Rysel aluminum seat post, 27.2 mm (1") diameter XS: 250 mm (10") S, M, L: 350 mm (13 3/4") XL: 400 mm (15 3/4") Van Rysel Sport 900 saddle

Pedals

Bike sold without pedals

Sizing

Please refer to the bike frame geometry table. If you're between sizes, a shorter bike is better if you want something more responsive and lively. However, if you want to be comfortable when riding long distances, the bigger size is your best bet.

I am very happy with his road bike! It's agile, the geometry is perfect, the electric shifting works smoothly without a sound, and the whole thing feels like riding an electric sports car. And I also very much enjoyed the excellent service at the Oxford Decathlon (by Stephen H

olt and Alastair Pearson in particular!), you feel in good hands by people who know their stuff (also with respect to more expensive roadbikes, which is not always the case in bike shops). Overall, an excellent customer experience!

Satisfait du vélo un seul bémol
Maxence
