How to Choose Swim Cap Material
Mesh: Made from a fabric similar to a swimsuit, it is easy to put on without pulling hair. A seam around the head makes for a secure fit. Coated Mesh: This mesh cap variation is also comfortable. Covered with a layer of silicone, it stops water from getting in and makes it less stretchy for a more secure fit. Silicone: Less comfortable but very stretchy, it provides excellent stability and keeps out water.
Are there other types of swim caps?

How to choose the right swim cap size?
S, M, L, 1 size… Which to choose? The choice is rather simple: fabric and coated mesh caps come in different sizes (S, M, L) whereas silicone caps come in 1 size because they are very stretchy. Consult this guide based on head size: - XS: 50-52 cm. (available in the baby section) - S: 53-56 cm. - M: 56-59 cm. - L: 59-62 cm. - 1 size: from 53 to 62 cm.
How to Put on Swim Cap
Did you know? There's a right and wrong way to wear a swim cap! Mesh caps have a central band designed to run from front to back. For silicone swimming caps, the fold line (visible when the cap is laid flat) goes in the same direction as the others. Place both hands together inside the cap. Spread hands (and fingers) to create space, then put the cap on. At the front, it should sit about a finger's width above the eyebrows.
Why Wear a Swim Cap?
There are 2 main reasons. Firstly, wearing a cap shows respect for the swimming area. By securing hair, water and equipment remain clean, ensuring a certain level of hygiene in the pool or body of water. Secondly, also for personal protection!
