Reduce fogging

Goggles can fog up for several factors:a difference in temperature between the body and the water, humidity levels, etc. Wear due to friction is one of the main causes. If your goggles fog up, dip your lenses in the water and a protective film will reform. It is normal for the performance of the anti-fog coating to drop over time. We provide an anti-fog marker that reactivates an ageing anti-fog treatment and makes your goggles last longer.

Sizes

The goggles’ watertightness depends on how well they fit the shape of your face. Before purchasing, we recommend doing a suction test without the elastic strap. If the goggles stay on your face with only slight suction, they will be watertight during your swim. This also enables you to spot any areas of discomfort or annoyance when the model is on the face. This model comes in two sizes, for narrow or rounder faces.

Adjusting the fit

These swimming goggles fit the shape of your face and don’t need to be over-tightened. Goggles that are too tight can cause discomfort, leave marks, and let water seep in. You don’t need to press against the lenses with your hands. A light suction effect is all you should need to keep water out. The straps should sit 2–3 cm above your ears. This position will optimize the goggle’s comfort level and grip.

Goggle care

Care advice: - Rinse your goggles as needed by dipping them in the water - Keep water jets away from the inside surface of the lenses - Store in their case between sessions to avoid scratches and to protect the anti-fog treatment - Avoid exposing the goggles to temperatures over 60°C - Do not touch or wipe the inside of the lenses

Lens tint

The colour of your lenses should suit your swimming location and its lighting. If you swim outdoors or in a pool with harsh lighting, choose goggles with smoked lenses to limit glare. If you’re outdoors in the evening or the pool is dark, use clear lenses. Spirit swimming goggles are available in different lens tints (mirrored, smoked, clear).

UV Protection

Complies with standard QB/T 4734-2023; all Nabaiji swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays when used normally, regardless of the lens tint. Looking directly at the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.
