Kids' Snowsuit - 580 Pink

Love the snow suit. Ample room in sizes and the adjustable length legs are very easy to operate. The jacket zips to the pants in the back to keep snow out and the mittens snap into the wrists of the jacket to keep them from falling off.

I haven't had a chance to test the snowsuits outdoor yet but first impressions are very good. Quality of the material and design are great. All the seams and stitching is tight with no loose threads. Material is thick and seems like it will hold up well. They are comparabl

e in thickness of the Costco jacket we have from last year though better quality, I think layered properly they will be plenty sufficient for the worst of the winter weather. Sizing is fairly accurate - my 4yo wears 5/6t or xs kids and the 5-6 size fits perfectly maybe a touch on the smaller side of sizing. I don't need to use the adjustable arms or legs but they are very functional. My 3yo wears 4t clothing and I ordered a 3-4 size. This seems to be large on him especially in the legs and arms so the adjustable features are perfect. The arms and legs shorten by an inch or two. The adjustments are in two places on each limb so they do a better job than I've experienced with other brands in the past. Other things to note, the wrists and waist band a soft jersey material that fits tight and should do a good job keeping out snow. The waist band goes up quite high. The jacket and pants zip together at the back to prevent gaping when worn together but can be fully disconnected unlike one piece suits. They come with a pair of mitts that snap to the wrist of the jacket so then don't get lost and seem like a great back up pair. They aren't super thick so I would still rely on a different pair as a primary. Overall well worth the money spent. Shipping was fast as well. My kids only complaint about them was that they don't come in orange.

We are a "Decathlon" family with multitudes of products for over 20 years. This 580 series suit is excellent for its price. Great design and build except... the main zipper on the jacket. The first one we bought kept getting snagged on the inside on the material of the wind fl

ap. My 5 yr-old could never zip it or unzip it by herself, so she needed help from an adult, every time. There was too much loosed material in that flap. We returned it to the store, and the EXCELLENT warranty policy of Decathlon resulted in a straightforward exchange for another of the same suit. This second one has no issues with that inner wind flap. However, the thin strip of bright pink material that lines the outside of the main zipper is not getting caught every other time she zips up the jacket. It takes a lot of force and finger pulling to get it unstuck, something which my daughter can't do on her own. Net result is that she gets frustrated and always feels bad having to ask for help. I'm going to cut that line of fabric away because it doesn't really have any function - it looks more cosmetic than anything. Hopefully, Decathlon will take a look at this for an adjustment to next year's version.
