Design of the 2.5 m Wraps
The 2.5 m boxing wraps are made with fabric that is a blend of polyester and cotton, to provide greater durability and flexibility.
Why use boxing wraps?
Boxing hand wraps are designed to hold joints in place (metacarpals and wrists) as well as prevent irritation in areas that suffer repeated blows. They also absorb perspiration from hands and extend the gloves’ life.
How to choose wraps
For low-impact use such as for touch sparring, the 2.5 m or 3 m wraps are more than sufficient; make sure the wrap covers the key zones (thumb, metacarpus, and wrist). For more intense use, such as sparring at full force, opt for the 4 m or 4.5 m wraps. They are thicker and provide stronger support and better protection of the metacarpals.
