This jacket has a fitted cut. The stretchy fabric (13% elastane) and raglan sleeves offer freedom of movement while you hike. 
Add a warm layer underneath, such as a fleece sweater or light, padded jacket. 
Choose your usual size or go one size up for a looser fit.

Use the elastic drawstring to adjust the hood’s height and depth. Sturdy visor for maximum face protection.
Details make a difference: a triangular opening on the side of the hood provides better visibility.

Hood

This jacket is made up of 3 layers, the best protection on the market: the membrane is glued between the inner and outer component layer.
The membrane is a very thin polyurethane film that makes the component waterproof while remaining breathable.
It’s protected by a mesh and is softer, lighter, more durable, and often more breathable than a coating.

Jacket composition: 3 layers

This jacket has waterproof strips to ensure perfect waterproofing. However, these strips are sensitive to machine washing and can peel off over time. We therefore recommend using a sponge with water to clean any stains on your jacket, and that you very rarely wash it in the washing machine at 30°C. Follow these instructions and you’ll have your jacket for many years and hikes to come.

How to wash your jacket

Waterproofing is measured by a fabric’s resistance to water pressure expressed in mm of water column.
The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. 
The fabric used to make this product has a 20,000 mm waterproof rating, and it can withstand the pressure of a 20,000 mm column of water. 
This is also equivalent to 20,000 Schmerbers.

Waterproof testing

Component breathability is measured using thermal evaporative resistance (RET). 
RET refers to a fabric’s capacity to let perspiration evaporate. 
The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. 

RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric
RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric
RET ≤ 20: little breathability
 
Our product has a RET rating of 6.

Breathability test

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. This keeps the fabric from soaking up water, so it stays lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use.
