Jacket composition: 3 layers
This jacket is made up of 3 layers, the best protection on the market: the membrane is glued between the inner and outer component layer. The membrane is a very thin polyurethane film that makes the component waterproof while remaining breathable. It is protected by a knit fabric and is softer, lighter, more durable, and often more breathable than a coating.
How to wash your jacket
This jacket has taped seams to ensure perfect waterproofing, but they are vulnerable to machine washing and may peel off over time. Use a sponge and water to spot clean this jacket, and machine wash it sparingly, at 30°C.
Waterproofness test
Waterproofing is measured by a fabric’s resistance to water pressure expressed in mm of water column. The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. The component of this product has a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm, which means it can withstand the pressure exerted by a 20,000 mm column of water. This is also equivalent to 20,000 Schmerber.
Breathability test
Component breathability is measured using thermal evaporative resistance (RET). RET refers to a fabric’s capacity to let perspiration evaporate. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric RET ≤ 20: little breathability Our product has a RET rating of 6.
Water-repellent properties
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. This keeps the fabric from soaking up water, so it stays lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use.

Like the jacket, BUT it has no reflective tape anywhere on the jacket (something I overlooked when purchasing). I've added my own reflective tape so I'm seen at night when crossing the street.

Loved it in my hiking trip. Kept me dry without making me too hot. The pockets are at a bit of a weird angle and a bit high. Would definitely recommend.

It's water resistant, not waterproof as the name said. I didn't buy it online but rather in a store and this wasn't mentioned. I'm only finding out it isn't waterproof as advertised because after a 15 minutes walk in rain, water has already went through the fabric and I wanted
to know if I just got a defective product or a misleading one. Otherwise it's really light, cute, comfortable and breathable, but not what I was looking for in a raincoat. A bit disappointed, spending 130$ on a coat that doesn't do the job I bought it for. Very good value for very light rain in the city, but very disappointing for hiking in rainy climates.
