How does fleece keep you warm?

What is the RET index?

The breathability of a fabric is measured by its evaporative resistance RET (ISO 11092 standard): The lower it is, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET< 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (low breathability). This fleece jacket has a RET of 3.

Why is my jacket water-repellent?

Remember, water-repellent is not waterproof. Light rain rolls off water-repellent fabric without penetrating it. The garment stays light and breathable. On this fleece, the hood, shoulders, and sleeves are water-repellent. It’s perfect for keeping your upper body as dry as possible.

Restoring water repellency

To restore the water-repellent properties, use the reactivating spray (ref. 8800346). Apply evenly and spread it with a dry cloth. Leave your fleece to dry for a few hours and your fleece will be ready for your next adventure!

How should I clean fleece?

To wash your fleece jacket in a machine, opt for a synthetic cycle at 30°C. Turn it inside out and zip up the pockets. Reduce the spin speed to 1000 rpm to preserve the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
