Zip at the back of the collar and snaps inside the leg (up to 24 months).
Protection for kids
It’s especially important for kids to wear proper sun protection. For identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times stronger on a child than on an adult. It is therefore important to protect them effectively.
What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) is an international standard that measures the proportion of UV rays a fabric lets through to your skin. A UPF of 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays.
Behaviour in the sun
This swimsuit protects against UV rays, but it doesn’t provide complete sun protection. It’s essential to consider other factors such as reflections (off sand, water, etc.), temperature, and time of day when you’re out in the sun. For example, wear a hat and sunglasses, regularly apply sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
