Why learn to play basketball with the Tarmak R 500 ball?

The ball size depends on the player’s age and gender.
Size 1: Ages 2 and up. 
Size 3 to size 5: Girls and boys ages 4 to 6 / mini-basket under 7 age group (depending on levels and clubs).
Size 5: Boys and girls ages 7 to 10 / under 9 and under 11 age groups.
Size 6: Boys ages 11 and 12 / under 13 age group.
Size 6: Girls over 11 and women of all ages. 
Size 7: Boys over 13 and men of all ages.

What ball size should you choose? 


For durability, choose a rubber ball. If you want a ball with a good feel, leather or synthetic is what you need.

What ball should you use?

An overinflated or underinflated basketball doesn’t give you the best match experience.
The recommended pressure is clearly written on the ball by the manufacturer. 
Ideally, you should use a pump with a pressure gauge for precise inflation.
We recommend a pressure of 8.99 psi.
