Pants that are designed for winter?
Our pants are the key to keeping you warm in temperatures as low as -14°C. Their brushed fabric lining traps air and insulates, forming a thermal barrier that keeps body heat in. The windproof fabric increases protection against the cold.
How is thermal comfort measured?
The thermal resistance test shows the loss of heat between the body and the outside, indicating the insulating properties of the product. It can be done on the fabric using thermal probes or clothing with thermal models, measuring the retention of body heat.
How do these pants protect against snow?
When hiking in the winter, snow can get inside your boots. That’s why the lower legs of these pants are tighter, to keep snow out.
Why choose water-repellent pants?
These hiking pants are designed with a water-repellent fabric that makes water bead off the surface instead of absorbing into the fabric. You stay dry, even in light rain or damp conditions. For greater protection, we added waterproof reinforcements on the seat and lower legs.
Restoring water repellency
You must regularly reactivate the water-repellent treatment, ideally after each wash. Suitable products are available as a spray or liquid in our stores and on our website.
How does it leave you free to move?
We designed these pants with stretch fabric for maximum freedom of movement, so essential when hiking. We also fitted them with a wide elastic waistband that covers the hips, lower back, and stomach for maximum comfort on every hike.

I get compliments whenever I wear these pants! They're so comfy, very stretchy, good flexibility. Could probably do the splits in these bad boys. Sizing runs very small - I'm 5'7 and ~155lbs and settled on an XL to allow for ample movement and baselayer. Worn for mid to hi
gh intensity xc ski and hiking in -10 to -20 celcius with either thin or no baselayer, didn't feel cold and didn't sweat heavily on my lower half either. No snow melted through, despite a number of tumbles in the snow. Quite pleased with these pants!

A picked a sort of teal colour as different to the usual blue or black options. Wonderfully warm - needed the last week! True to size. Good depth to pockets. The big bonus with these is the stretchy narrowing at ankle - as I am short (1m55cm) it means the trousers do not c
ome over your boots and get frayed, wet or smudged up. Would buy another pair for sure. Wish they'd come in other funky colours.
