What is OUTDOOR CONTACT© grip?

Certified sole grip. The boot must pass laboratory tests to define its friction coefficient on smooth surfaces. To validate these tests, we assess the quality of our soles out in the field, by a panel of representative testers over 500 kms.

How do we test waterproofing?

Our boots undergo an intensive test in the lab to guarantee their waterproofing. They are immersed and folded up in water up to a certain level, replicating real-life hiking conditions. This test ensures that your feet will stay dry for at least 2 hours, even in rainy or wet conditions.

When walking in the forest, on the coast or on the daily, your feet are put through numerous constraints. Rubbing boots can be unpleasant, especially when you’re sweating, but the cold can be really lead to an uncomfortable hike if you don’t have adequate protection.
