How do I choose the right footwear for hiking in the snow?
Follow these guidelines for your winter activities. Warmth: wear warm socks (ideally with a good percentage of wool). Breathability: choose socks based on the intensity of the hike and, to minimize moisture, make sure they’re breathable. Boot height: the height of the sock should correspond to the height of the boot—for more protection, choose higher socks.

Used these socks for Everest Base Camp Trek in April 2024. I selected M size which were a wee bit tight but comfortable. Nothing to complain. They are warm and breathable. They are also durable. Used them over 3 days continuously and no issues. I have even used them in the ci

I have no idea why people are rating these socks so high. I had high hopes for these and the price is great. but if you look closely, all the wool is on the ankle up. so you have nice warm calves but the heel to the toes are mostly or all synthetic material. Why would it
be designed like that? i'm wearing them now and my calves feel great but my toes are freezing. Feel totally ripped off. Now I'm wondering if these are all fake reviews.

Were great for skiing! Didn’t feel the cold at all and they’re very comfortable. Thin enough that you can still wear your ski boots or regular shoes comfortably but thick enough that they keep you warm.
