Our advice for positioning your bike

You can use this repair stand with bikes weighing up to 25 kg/55 lb and frame tubes with a maximum diameter of 5 cm.

To ensure optimal maintenance, we recommend that you follow these 3 steps: 
1. degrease your drive train
2. clean your bike
3. lubricate your chain

How to look after your bike:

This all-weather chain lube is designed for doing step 3. Once you've applied the degreaser (step 1), spray the bike with the cleaner and rinse and dry it (step 2), then apply your bike lube (step 3). Your bike will be as good as new.

How to use this product: 

Remember to degrease your chain before greasing it in order to remove any residue that could make abrasive contact with your drivetrain. This will help your equipment last longer and save you money.

This bike cleaner is designed for doing step 2. 
Remember to degrease your drive train before spraying the cleaner onto your bike (step 1). Next, spray on the cleaner, rinse it off and dry your bike (step 2) before applying your chain lube (step 3). Your bike will then be as good as new.

The spray nozzle used for this product is very precise, specifically designed to be used with bikes, and extremely durable. In fact, it can be used to spray on more than 50 L (44 qt.) of bike cleaner. Because of this, we've created a 1 L (1 qt.) refill that avoids you having to throw away the spray nozzle.

Quickly and easily read the degree of wear on your bike's chain.

Precision

Designed for easily and quickly measuring the degree of wear on your bike chain.

Place your bike on your workshop stand (for greater comfort) or against a wall.
Insert the left-hand side of the tool into a link on your chain (make sure the small hook is well inserted into the link), then lower the right-hand side onto the chain to read the result.
Once it has been properly installed on your chain, the chain wear indicator should lie as flat as possible.

How to use this tool

If the tip of the tool (the right-hand part) does not go beyond the line above the "OK" sign, then your chain and cassette are in perfect running order.
If you press the right-hand tip of the tool in between the 2 lines of the "1", then you need to change your chain.
If you press the right-hand point of the tool beyond the line at the start of part "2", then you need to change your chain and cassette or freewheel.

How to read your result

It all depends on how often you ride.
We recommend that you check the condition of your chain once a month to ensure that your gears shift smoothly and that you don't wear out your cassette or freewheel prematurely. That way, you don't have to change them more quickly than necessary.

How often should you use the tool?

Maintaining your drive train ensures that your gears shift smoothly, extends the life of your components, and eliminates unwanted noise. We advise you to follow the 3 recommended steps:
01) Degrease your drive train;
02) Clean your bike;
03) Lubricate your chain.

Testing your chain wear regularly will prevent premature wear of your drive train.

This chain wear indicator is a precision tool. If the tool is dropped, this could affect its precision and the result obtained.
