Good jacket overall Not very breathable nor did I like the magnetic buttons, had to return it.

This jacket is great for everyday use when it's cold up to -15 degrees Celsius. I wear it a lot in the winter in Montreal. It has a zipper on the side that makes it more comfortable to wear when I'm sitting down, like on the bus or train. The pockets are also warm and feel nic

Pro's: * Excellent value - the best price vs quality & features I could find from any brand * Good waterproofing - I've not yet tested in extreme downpours, but in light rain the water beads and falls right off. * Warm & comfortable - the lining is very soft and comfortable

, the jacket is warm, protects well from the wind. Perfect for UK winters. There is a strip of insulation behind the zip; very clever. * Pockets - exactly where you need them. Handwarmer pockets have a soft lining. All pockets zip closed. One chest pocket outside of zip but beneath buttons for easy access - great for phone. * Generally a good fit. Nice length to keep your thighs warm and dry. * Good quality fixings - stitching seems good. Buttons are firm and feel strong. Magnets hold well. Generally feels well made and like it should last a long time. * Brown colour is nicer than appears in the photos. Observations: * Hood does not have toggles as in the photos, rather a friction grip ferrule. Seems to work okay but not yet tested in strong winds. I'm not yet entirely convinced by the shape; the hood may benefit from more of a peak, and an option (buckle or hook/loop) to adjust the hood at the rear. Cons: * Neck area is somewhat tight for the size of the jacket. There isn't much room to tuck your chin into the coat and if you were to do so, you would definitely not be able to wear a scarf (though you should be warm without one). Hard to do up the buttons on the neck. I think the neck would benefit from some elasticity in the band. * Wrist buttons - these limit you to only two options for tightening the cuff. Personally I find one a little large and one a little small and would have liked a little more flexibility here. Maybe a middle button? * Sleeves are a little long for the size of the jacket. Summary: By far the best coat I have ever owned, I'm really impressed by the quality and the price. The cons are above are really me being critical as overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. I've done a lot of comparing brands/features and this comes out well on top. Top marks for comfort.
