These trousers are so warm and so comfy. They're really soft on the inside and also have a soft outer layer, unlike other water repellant trousers. I end up wearing them when I wfh because they're so comfortable and keep me really warm

I went to Decathlon looking for some warm trousers to use instead of jeans in this -1 rainy weather, and these were the cheapest option in store. Really warm, with fleece inside, although the foot sometimes gets stuck in that layer when putting them on (think of trying to put

on tights and trousers at the same time). They also claim to be water repellent, which is not the same as waterproof, but will do for my use. The sizing was, as others mentioned, a little odd. I have very long legs, but I'm skinny yet with hips, so I had to get a size over my usual to make sure it didn't feel too tight on my hips. It's also nice that they have a little string to tighten them a bit more if needed, so you can get a size more and still easily tighten it more. The only disappointing bit, to me, was the design. I was hoping for something cargo-pants style, with lots of pockets, or at least pockets with zips. These only have the two basic pockets, and as the specifications say, they really are just to keep your hands warm, they barely have room for anything else. Due to this, I think they are a tiny bit pricey for what you get, and you might as well pay a bit more to get trousers that are much better with more pockets, better design, or completely waterproof, because the price difference will only be ten or fifteen pounds. Still, I got these ones because really all I wanted was for my legs to be warm if it snows, and in fact the friend I went with got the same ones, so if all you want is to be warm, these are great for you.

I ordered these in a 12 which I got on but we're a bit tight on hips and waist. swapped for a 14 which didn't feel much different, and then tried a 16 in the shop which didn't feel much different on the leg but were far too big on the waist. I'm not really sure how they were s

ized but it was really disappointing as they did feel nice and warm. the type of fabric might be influencing the fit, but I would definitely recommend trying different sizes to what you're used to. I will add I am tall with long legs so the proportions won't be spot on for me anyway, but they are for sure some of the most odd trousers I've tried.
