Protective details

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This keeps the fabric from soaking up water so the jacket stays lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use.
 

Water repellency (different from waterproofing)

To reactivate the water repellency, you can use the textile waterproofing liquid available in stores or on the website under reference 8554908. 
It regenerates the water repellency of the fabric and optimizes the performance of your garment throughout its life.

Other recommended products

The wind can make you feel considerably colder. An outside temperature of 0°C with 20 km/h winds feels like -10°C. Windproof fabric offset the discomfort associated with this freezing effect. This gear is very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.

Thermal comfort and wind proofing
