The innovative Pull’n Fit concept makes it easy to accurately adjust the leg length of the snowsuit so that it adapts to the child’s body shape. Use the buttonhole system inside the sleeve to do so. Your little one will be all set for at least two winters!

How will this jacket keep my child warm?

This parka was designed with a waterproof outer material that prevents water and wind from getting inside. To stay warm in winter, you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The detachable fur hood and high collar will protect you from the cold. Zipper flaps also keep cold air out.

How does this parka protect from outdoor conditions?

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerbers or mm (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more watertight the fabric. 
This product has a waterproof component resistant to 5,000 mm or Schmerbers before washing. 

How can I be sure that the parka is 100% waterproof?

Fully taped seams. The inside seams are also sealed with waterproof tape to make them watertight and prevent water from seeping in.

To eliminate moisture, the whole outfit must be breathable.

How to dress properly for hiking in cold weather

Waterproof fabric has the same technical features as windproof fabric. Wind protection is very important as wind has a significant chilling effect.

Water repellency is a fabric’s capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. It prevents the fabric from soaking up water, keeping it lightweight, warm, and breathable. Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. The garment should be retreated over its lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products for this purpose (spray or liquid) are available in our stores.

How to preserve the technical qualities of your parka

Durability tests are conducted on selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colourfastness, and resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the parka’s fabric.

Thermal insulation will keep your young skiers at just the right temperature. This garment adapts to the body’s movements and to the outside environment. Wedze uses wadding for insulation to keep the body warm. 
Wadding is a synthetic component made from polyester that stores more or less air, depending on the length of the fibres. The thicker the wadding, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.

Thermal insulation

The coating is a waterproofing substance applied to the inside of the jacket and pants' outer fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows perspiration to escape. This keeps kids dry and comfortable.

Coating treatment

In addition to the waterproof fabric, taped seams make this snowsuit even more watertight. These are waterproof, adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. The taped seams are in the areas most exposed to snow. On this snowsuit, this means the shoulders, chest, and seat.

Taped main seams

Because sharp skis and games in the snow can sometimes damage or cut the bottom of the ski suit, we added high-performance reinforcements to prevent tearing. These reinforcements are on the most exposed areas: knees, seat, lower legs, and mitten palms.

Durability

The innovative Pull’n Fit design makes it easy to adjust the leg length of the bib pants so that they adapt to your child. You just need to raise up the zippers at the ankles for shorter pants. A buttonhole system inside the sleeve lets you adjust the length of the sleeve and mitten. Your kid will be all set for at least a couple of years!
