A closer look at the frame 

The RCR bike is equipped with the Shimano 105 Di2 complete groupset and Xcadey power meter. A power meter is a must for cyclists who want to plan their training and monitor progress.

A carbon frame is defined by its geometry, its tube shapes, and its layup. The layup is how the carbon fibres are assembled. Not all fibres have the same properties. 

On the RCR, we use only high-modulus fibres. On the RCR Pro, we select exceptional fibres that increase stiffness in the areas under the most stress while slightly reducing overall weight. 
The result: the RCR Pro is ready to compete at the highest level. 

What’s the difference between the RCR and the RCR Pro? 

The RCR range is a real treat for cyclists who want a complete bike with no compromises. For this bike, performance was our priority. The cross-sections of every tube have been calculated to be as efficient as possible in the main wind angles (-15°/+15°).
This bike falls within the “lightweight aero” category, offering the perfect balance of weight, rigidity, and aerodynamics, resulting in an exceptional bike. 

The RCR range 

When buying a bike, it’s important to take into account servicing costs, especially the drive train.
We have provided averages below so that you have a general idea of what to expect. They will, of course, vary depending on how well you take care of your drive train.

The average lifespan of a well-maintained chain is 5,000 km.
The average lifespan of a cassette is 10,000–12,000 km.

A poorly maintained chain can jump, in turn damaging your bike’s frame. 

Drive train lifespan 

Shimano R7170 disc brakes with 160 mm rotor at the front and 140 mm at the back.
The R7170 hydraulic disc brake gives you progressive, more powerful braking than cable-actuated hydraulic brakes.

You will need to bed the brakes in. Simply brake gradually 20 times at a low speed (20 km/h), then repeat at 30 km/h. Be sure to bed in both brakes.
Bedding in creates more friction between the disc and brake pad.

Please note: never squeeze the brakes without a wheel being attached, as the brake pads could get stuck together.

If the rotor is touching the pads, here’s how to realign the wheel and caliper: 
- Loosen the wheel axle.
- Brake hard and tighten the axle at the same time.
- If the rotor is still touching the brakes, do the same thing and loosen the caliper.
If the issue persists, visit one of our shops.

We’ve cleverly integrated the parts of the headset so the RCR steers smoothly while remaining easy to maintain.
