At the beginner level, you are just learning to surf or surf only a few times a year. You ride small or broken waves in shallow waters where your feet touch the bottom. We offer a wide range of swimwear for beginners of all body types.

Beginner surfers

The fabric of these UV-protection leggings blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection. Ideal for water sports, it can be worn in or out of the water. 
The density of the textile fibres filters out UV rays for long-lasting protection, even after washing.The elastane may deteriorate in chlorinated water.

UV-protection fabric

These leggings help reduce chafing, especially around the knees and inner thighs when you’re lying down or sitting on a surfboard.

Full-coverage leggings

UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) is an international standard that measures  the proportion of UV rays a fabric lets through to your skin.
A UPF of 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

The fitted waistband helps the leggings stay in place even when you fall into the waves. The cord at the front of the waistband is designed to be tied to a UV-protection T-shirt to keep it from riding up. This cord does not tighten the waist.
We recommend wearing a women’s top 500 anti-UV rash guard (available with short or long sleeves) in addition to these leggings for extra protection.

Multi water sports UV-protection leggings

Anti-UV leggings are a smart choice, but they don’t provide complete sun protection. It’s essential to consider other factors, such as reflections (off sand, water, etc.), temperature, and time of day, when you’re out in the sun. For example, you should also wear an anti-UV rash guard, sunglasses, and a hat or cap, plus regularly apply sunscreen and drink water.
