Do you want a solid, durable pole that guarantees your safety in the event of a fall or if the pole gets stuck (on a net, tree, mechanical ascent, etc.)? 
Wedze has an ingenious ejection system of the strap to stop the thumb from turning inside out.
The preformed strap is clipped to the top of the handle and can be unclipped in case of stress. It can be re-clipped without any problem.

 In case of a fall, the hand does not get stuck like in a standard strap (8% of trauma cases).

Experience

To determine the correct size, bend forward slightly while wearing your ski boots. Then hold your poles upside down with your hand under the basket so that your forearm forms a 90° angle.

How should you choose your ski poles?

The baskets prevent the poles from sinking too far into the snow.

The standard EN 1077:2007 category B is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing or snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resist penetration.

A rigorous standard for protections

The Turnring is essential to the support of your helmet. This system can be easily and precisely adjusted at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with your skiing gloves. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.

A practical adjustment wheel to adapt the helmet to fit you

The venting system improves the thermal regulation of your helmet and reduces fog in your goggles. This type of design lets heat and humidity escape from the entire helmet and goggle area.

Passive ventilation system

The hard shell construction makes the helmet more durable and robust. The helmet has an injection-moulded, ABS outer shell to withstand powerful impacts. High resistance to bumps and knocks. The internal Epos skullcap absorbs impact during collisions. Change your snowboard helmet at least every 5 years, even if it hasn’t sustained any impacts.

Hard shell construction

Avoid putting a thick hat under your child's helmet as this will move the helmet away from their head and they won't be as well protected. 
Opt for a very thin beanie or balaclava. Helmets have good insulating properties. Often, nothing else is needed. Do not attach a camera to the helmet, as the extra weight can affect safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.

The size of the FS 300 helmet is slightly different from other Wedze helmets. It’s a bit shorter at the forehead. Check when trying them on.

Laces and a blocker that is easy to use for fast tightening. The outer tightening system uses classic laces.

Quick tightening system

Adequate flex is something we strive for. It improves comfort, reduces physical fatigue, and allows you to fully enjoy your day in the snow. It helps beginners adopt the right position on the board: ankles flexed to avoid straight legs. Snowboarding demands fast reactions, and keeping knees bent is important. You don’t want to start with a boot that’s too stiff.

Boot flex/stiffness

The Flex Up enables you to add 2 out of 10 flexion points (with Flex Up, this boot has a rigidity of approximately 5/10).
This is a plastic accessory which is inserted into the tongue of Decathlon snowboard boots produced from the 2022/23 season onwards. A pocket has been included in the design to keep it in the ideal position.
The Flex Up adds stiffness: If your boot turns more limp, give it a second life.

Adding Flex Up

Foot support is essential for steering your board. The level 1 liner has 4 features:
1. Liner that can be thermoformed at home 
2. Comfort Heel Pad ankle foam 
3. 4-point liner tightening
4. Hook-and-loop tab on the top of the liner

Heel support: level 1 liner (/3)

Thermoforming is only possible in built-in ovens measuring 56 cm x 60 cm x 56 cm (22” x 23.5” x 22”) equipped with a fan mode. Do not attempt in a gas oven or small toaster oven with visible heating elements.

1. Thermoforming the liner by yourself: Warning

1. Heat your oven to 80°C in convection mode. 
2. Remove the inner soles from the liners. Place the liners on a baking sheet covered with a piece of parchment paper.
3. Wait 15 minutes.
4. Put them on with a pair of ski or snowboard socks and tighten them (not too much).
5. Put on the boots on and tighten fully. 5. Wait for 15 minutes. 
This operation can be repeated if necessary.
For use in a built-in oven (56 cm x 60 cm x 56 cm/22” x 23.5” x 22”) only

1. How to thermoform the liner yourself

Ankle padding fills the hollow under and behind the ankle, keeping the heel firmly in place.
The level 1 liner is made of a relatively soft, one-piece material with 10 mm (0.39”) thick foam ankle pads.
The goal is to provide heel-foot support that matches the boot’s performance level. In fact, the faster you go, the more energy is deployed and the more support your foot needs.
Comfort Foam provides maximum comfort.

2. Comfort Heel Pad ankle foam

4-point tightening for good foot support. It holds the foot in place around the ankle.

3. 4-point liner tightening

The top of the liner has hook-and-loop strips, enabling you to hold the tongue of the liner in place at the sides, no matter how your foot is moving.

The insole of this boot is flat. It offers comfort and thermal insulation. 
If you really need added support for your foot, here’s what you can do: 
- add a sole that is pre-formed at the arch and heel area
- add a sole that can be thermoformed to your foot This is the most effective solution.

Our Ultralight sole is 100% EVA.
EVA is a very light material with 80% air. This material resists abrasion while maintaining its damping properties. It is naturally very insulating and protects you from the cold ground.
The lug tread offers excellent grip without retaining snow.

3. Stand up.
4. Your big toes should touch the tip of the boot without excessive pressure.
5. Bend your legs forward; your big toes should move back, no longer touching the front of the boot.

The S3 Sun is a dark lens that protects you from bright sunlight. We have selected a brown tint that preserves good visibility in shaded areas or at the end of the day when the sun is less bright.
Lenses are not scratch resistant.

The Performance anti-fogging system is a double lens with a treatment on the inside combined with a ventilation system on the frame that enables air to circulate inside the ski goggles.
To ensure effective ventilation, do not block the vents, with a neck warmer, for example.
Do not rub inner surface of lens. Instead, dab it carefully to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.

Anti-fogging performance

Dual screen reduces condensation. Air trapped between the lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. It reduces the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the mask, decreasing fogging on the inner lens. The inner lens also has an anti-fog treatment.

Wraparound dual lens. The outer lens is made from an extremely shock-resistant injection-moulded polycarbonate. Inner lens is made from cellulose propionate.

A coloured coating on the outer side of the ski goggles lens (known as coloured Flash) reduces the percentage of light that reaches the eye, reducing glare and improving clarity in sunny conditions.
Warning: The lenses are not scratch resistant.

Moisture causes fogging. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get damp, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Always dry your ski goggles properly overnight to get rid of all the moisture so you can hit the slopes the next day with completely dry goggles.

Avoid fogging

Chose your size according to your head size. Up to 55 cm (21.7 in) choose size S, from 56 cm (22.1 in) up choose size L.
