How to choose the size of your MT900 Air Insulator mattress

This model is available in L and XL sizes. The difference between the two sizes is the length (183 cm for the L; 195 cm/77” for size XL) and width (54 cm/21” for size L; 63 cm/25” for the XL). Consider your height to choose the mattress that best suits you. However, also consider how much space you like to have around your shoulders. So, even if you are 175 cm (5’7”), you may prefer the XL!

How to inflate your MT900 Air insulating mattress

Use the pump bag in the cover to keep moisture out of the mattress. To do this, unroll the entire pump bag. Connect the valve of the pump bag to the “In” valve of your mattress. Blow to about 10-20 cm from the inlet of the pump bag to inflate the main volume as much as possible. Roll the bag on itself up to the valve to push the air out of the main bag into your mattress

How to sleep well on your MT900 Air Insulator mattress

Once you are lying down, remember to adjust the inflation pressure of the mattress by pressing lightly on the IN valve (open cap). A mattress that is too hard is often uncomfortable. A special coating on both sides of the mattress prevents your sleeping bag from slipping on the mattress and the mattress from slipping on the groundsheet.

What component do we use on this mattress?

We use the same fabric on both sides of this mattress: 40 Denier polyamide with thicker 45 denier thread to reduce the risk of a tear spreading.

How to repair a leak on your MT900 Air insulating mattress

Inflatable mats are not puncture-proof, but they can be repaired if punctured. Take care when inflating and moving the mat. In the event of a problem, we recommend self-adhesive repair patches (ref. number: 8557113). For more information, visit our website.

What is R-value?

R-value measures thermal insulation. It indicates how much heat a material retains or allows to escape. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation. R-value can be increased: stack two mattresses to combine their R-values. All our mattresses are tested to ASTM F3340-18 standards.

What R-value do you need?

R-value from 0 to 1.9: Hot season (summer) R-value from 2 to 3: Use over 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn) R-value from 3 to 6: Use over 4 seasons R-value > 6: suitable for use all year round, including in freezing conditions.
