A Decathlon innovation for learning without training wheels: Easy Switch

Our Stop Easy system makes braking easier and provides a comfortable grip. The brake lever is pressed parallel to the handlebars for greater movement. While it is progressive, this innovative brake lever also provides 30% more braking power compared to a conventional brake lever. A Btwin innovation that both parents and children love. 

Stop Easy innovation: a patented braking system designed for children

This steel frame has been optimized so it's not too heavy for a child's body type. Our R&D team was able to develop this bike to be 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) lighter than our previous models, without compromising strength.
The shape of the frame gives children confidence: it makes it easier to get on or off the seat, without bumping into the frame.

Frame material and shape

Seat height can be adjusted from 41.5 cm to 52.5 cm using a BTR wrench (Allen 5), providing a 20 cm height range (90 cm to 110 cm/2'11" to 3'7").

The handlebar is also adjustable by 4 cm.
Warning: Do not exceed the maximum recommended height on the seat tube and handlebar (marking engraved on the stems).

Training wheel information

These tires are equipped with an inner tube (inflatable). 
The effective tire tread pattern does not sacrifice grip on everyday surfaces (roads, paths, lawns, etc.).
The honeycomb design on the tires is exclusive to B’Twin.

To prevent children from putting their fingers where they shouldn’t, the mechanical elements of the drive train (crank, chain, freewheel, etc.) are shielded by a guard. It also prevents laces from getting caught and clothes from getting dirty. 
The rear of the housing can be easily removed for repairs or re-tensioning the chain!
