- Hold the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball should follow the movement without resistance. 
- Check that the seal is present, in good condition and correctly installed. 
- Check that all the valves are present, not deformed and are lying flat.
- Check the overall assembly of the mask and make sure there are no defects in the frame skirt assembly or in the lens. 
- Never use the mask without the snorkel. 

Check your Easybreath before each use, especially your child’s: 

If your Easybreath is fogging up around the eyes, go through the 4 steps listed above, correctly repositioning your mask and checking that your Easybreath is the right size for your face. If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact your nearest Decathlon store. 

What if my mask is fogging up? 

Snorkelling is a fun, easy activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more physically demanding than regular swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath, or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water.
Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). If in doubt, consult your doctor. 

Snorkelling safety 

The Easybreath is the next generation full-face mask devised by Decathlon. Same great features as the previous model: 180° vision, anti-fog, easy to put on. We’ve made this mask more robust, with a more comfortable skirt. It’s also 20% easier to breathe in. New innovative features: the Dry-top release. Now you can keep breathing when a wave washes over you.

What is Easybreath? 

Easybreath: a mask that allows nose and mouth breathing, offering a wide field of vision and an anti-fog system via air circulation. Available for adults and kids.

Easybreath+: includes an acoustic valve that allows you to speak more audibly with your head above water (without having to remove your mask!)

Easybreath 900: its soft nose lets you equalize the ears and descend to depths of up to 3 m, so don’t stay on the surface—get down there! 

What Easybreath masks are available at Decathlon? 

Fresh air is pushed towards the lens before it reaches the wearer’s nose and mouth, which keeps the mask from fogging up.
The air packed with moisture and CO² is evacuated through channels inside the mask’s rim, which lead into the snorkel. The air is constantly renewed. By separating the flow of air going in and out of the mask, the wearer is always breathing in fresh air. Licensed under Ocean Reef Group 

How does the Easybreath work? 

The mask uses Dry-top technology. This system was developed to stop water from entering the snorkel in choppy conditions, during small waves on the surface, in case of submersion, or when the user leans too far forward to observe the seabed. The snorkel is fitted with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel is submerged. When this happens, remember to lift the snorkel out of the water and exhale in the mask to make sure the float comes back down. 

Waterproofing: how the dry-top system stops water entry

The Easybreath mask's air volume is greater than that of traditional diving masks. At just 1 m down, the pressure of the mask on your face becomes very uncomfortable. Freedivers also need to be able to decompress. In the Easybreath+ mask, this is impossible because the nose is inaccessible. An Easybreath 900 mask is what you need to descend below the surface. 

Can I dive with my Easybreath mask? 

This full-face snorkelling mask is comfortable to wear and provides a wide field of vision. 
It’s ideal for people who want to observe the underwater world from the surface. 

Why choose Easybreath over a traditional valve mask? 

The Easybreath Adult Surface Mask comes in 2 sizes and covers 90% of an adult’s face.
For smaller faces, choose S/M. For larger faces, choose size M/L.

To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask to ensure it fits against your face: there should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask. 

Choosing Easybreath size 

Having a beard prevents your mask’s skirt from fitting properly. Therefore, the seal of this full face mask is not guaranteed for bearded users. For a watertight seal, shaving is recommended. Alternatively, you might also apply a thick balm such as Vaseline. 

Can I wear the Easybreath if I have a beard? 

You can repair your Easybreath mask to extend its lifespan. After-sales service is available at your local Decathlon store. Replacement parts (strap, cover, snorkel, valves) are all available online or in store.

Can Easybreath mask be repaired if it breaks?

Most glasses will distort the mask skirt and prevent a watertight seal. As a result, using this mask with glasses is not ideal.


Can I wear glasses with my Easybreath mask?

Watch out for sand! Avoid letting your full-face snorkelling Easybreath mask make contact with sand as this can scratch the lens. If you find sand in your mask, rinse the snorkel and mask well before clipping them together. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Vigorously rinse the snorkel or use a key you can fit through its rear vents to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel again.
