Component waterproofing
This garment was subjected to a shower test using 60 litres of water/m²/hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces average rain shower conditions in the mountains.A component with a 5,000 mm rating can withstand the pressure of a 5,000 mm column of water (which is equivalent to a 3-hour rain shower). Waterproofing is expressed in Schmerber units (for example: 5,000 Schmerbers).
Component breathability
To assess the breathability of the fabric or the evaporative resistance, RET (test based on the ISO 11092 standard) is measured. The lower the fabric’s resistance, the more perspiration evaporates, and the more breathable the fabric. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric/9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric/12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric/RET > 20 = little or no breathability.
Component durability
We use repeated lab tests to verify the highest durability standards: an abrasion- and friction-resistance test to ensure that the fleece does not pill, a colourfastness test to check colour behaviour and resistance, and an aging test to ensure that repeated washing does not alter the properties of the fabric or its behaviour, thickness, or appearance.

Cette salopette est très confortable et protège bien. Mon fils l'a portée en haute montagne en avril avec legging thermo dessous, il n'a pas eu froid et n'a pas du tout mouillé son collant malgré les descentes en luge pendant plus d'1 heure. Par contre, il y avait de la conde
nsation à l'intérieur de la salopette, c'était surprenant. Des pressions sur le côté permettent de resserrer le maintien à la taille. Attention, elle taille un peu grand. Le renfort aux genoux permet de la protéger un peu plus.
